Board of Director Election
As a member of First Education Federal Credit Union, you have a say in how the Credit Union is run. This control comes through your right to vote for and serve on the Board of Directors. The Board then appoints other committee members and sets policy for the Credit Union. First Education uses a Nominating Committee to select candidates for the Board. If not nominated, members can petition to be included on the ballot. The deadline for the petition process was January 30, 2026. No petitions were received. Therefore, the nominated candidates are each elected by acclimation for a three year term.
Open Board Position
Due to a recent resignation, we have an opening on the board of directors. Since it is outside of the election process, this position will be appointed by the board for a one-year term. To qualify, you must be a member in good standing of First Education Federal Credit Union. Working knowledge of financial services, economics, and credit union operations is preferred but not required.
